    From an Armenological perspective, this book is particulalry useful as an introduction to and discussion on Caucasian alphabets other than Armenian (that is, the Georgian and the Albanian ones). The volume is insighful for both a palaeographical and historical approach.

    This article offers a French translation, with historical and literary commentary, of the Life of Maštoc’ written by the 5th-c. Armenian writer Koriwn. This historical source represents one of the most important accounts of the invention of the Armenian alphabet.
